Uplifting Communities, Building Legacies: Assist NA Bridges Financial Literacy and Housing Assistance for Low to Moderate Income Families in California
In California and across North America, navigating financial literacy and securing stable housing remain two of the most significant challenges for low-to-moderate income families. Rising to meet this need is Assistance Services Institute for Asians in N.A. (Assist NA), a nonprofit dedicated to combining cultural understanding with practical economic support to uplift underserved communities.
Founded by Dr. Amb. Nellie C. Reyes (h.c.), who has been widely recognized as a humanitarian and thought leader in recent years, has devoted her legacy- building advocacy through a platform in technical assistance to equip diverse low income families, health awareness, and mentoring emerging leaders—especially talented Asians, mostly Filipinos, in the U.S.—Assist NA operates with a mission to help individuals build true legacies through sustainable social and economic development solutions, primarily housing assistance.

Nurturing Voices, Building Legacies: Dr. Nellie C. Reyes (h.c.) Uplifts Authors and Artists Across North America
At a stage in life where most people focus solely on themselves, Dr. Amb. Nellie C. Reyes (h.c.) dedicates hers to lifting others. A widely recognized humanitarian and thought leader in recent years, she has devoted to her legacy- building advocacy through a platform in technical assistance to equip diverse low income families, health awareness, and mentoring emerging leaders that has made it her mission to guide talented Asians, mostly Filipinos, including emerging creatives in the U.S. to leave lasting legacies through writing and creative arts.
Since she founded a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit AssistNA.org in 2022 she has been gifting her members and supporters with her first non published book, called “The Courageous Legacy Builder”, an exclusive in-house client acquisition systems manual.
Through her newly founded Writers & Artists Collab (WAC), Hon. Dr. Reyes provides more than publishing opportunities—she offers mentorship, encouragement, and a platform for voices that might otherwise go unheard.
